Did you at any point ever have a supercharged Z28? I *think* I remember your name from an old honda mailing list (kens.com). You sig. used to have a supercharged Z28 listed. Am I completely off my rocker? What ever came of that car?

Hey! Sorry for the late reply...been busy working and stuff. Yes, I used to have a '97 Z28 SC. Unfortunately I'm getting married in May and I had to sell it. I decided to keep my civic since it's more economical and reliable. Was there something I could help you with pertaining to SC'd F-body's?

How about some opinions on SC'd F-bodies?

I've thought of doing one as my next project car when I get my life back from diaper-ville.

Well, if you like working on your car all of the time or taking it to the garage often then an F-body is for you! The build quality is crappy. It'll become apparent to you as you start taking things apart and installing things. Changing a headlight should be a relatively easy task right??? Not on a Z28! Luckily I have skinny, flexible arms. Hell, alot of stock F-body's need to be worked on all of the time. My buddy has a babied '97 Z28 which is stock and it's been back to the dealership 3 times for a leaking differential and twice for clutch problems. I would recommend against going with an F-body. After I get married and I get MY life back I'm going to get me a new WRX!!!

I don't think Ken Woods is involved in Hondas anymore. As for Stephen Sakai I haven't seen him posting in quite a while but I heard he ran a high 12 in his NA Type R.

Speaking of the old honda mailing list, whatever happend to Ken, and Stephen Saki, and some of the others from the list? I say some posts from Stehphen for awhile, but I have not seen anything out of him, or some of the others in a good while.

Last I had heard from Stephen he was looking for a 70mm or lager TB, and I think he had just broken into the 12's.

Yes, Ken could be a real a**hole. But he could be helpful also. I never had any problems with him. I think one of the key's was not to take his attitude seriously.

For awhile there were some very knowledgable, and helpful people on there, that seem to have dropped out of the scene. On the other hand there was a time when it was very ricey, and every other question had already been asked, or it was about clear corners.
